Latest News & Update: Registration Deadline is September 16th

Italy. What more can one say about this beautiful country? Everyone has dreamed of being there one day and the ones that have, cannot wait to go back again. PhotoVenture is for photographers of all levels who are passionate about photography. This is not your “typical” workshop with all day classroom time with your instructor, but rather an enlightening opportunity.  We will discover and experience the best of what Italy has to offer together as we travel through various Italian medieval cities. During those moments we will have an opportunity to network, share freely and learn from each other – not just from other wedding photographers, but from professions of all different fields! By surrounding yourselves with various people with different backgrounds, you will gain insight and wisdom which will transform you into a better person and ultimately, a better photographer. We will also provide couple of classroom times where Kenny will share his business, workflow, networking & marketing tips and his unique story: Having no formal training and proclaiming himself a "professional wedding photographer", his career path is just
one of his unique stories. Through various workshop experiences, thousands of networking opportunities, a slew of relational marketing practices, and several mistakes-made/lessons-learned, Kenny is one of today’s success stories.

Mark your calendar for November 6-12, 2012. On PhotoVenture V, we will explore the heart of Italy in Tuscany, Umbria & Marche region – surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and picturesque sceneries around every corner. Enjoy locally made fresh food and taste wine the way it was meant to be. We are in luck as November is the harvesting time in Italy. We will be able to taste some of the finest olive oil and world famous Brunello di Montalcino wine during the peak of their harvest season! You will be immersed in the Italian
way of life by staying in a romantic Tuscan villa/house near Cortona during your entire trip. We will experience local food and even get a chance to watch and learn to prepare some of your favorite Italian dishes. We will have opportunities to visit various Tuscan cities such as Cortona (city where Frances Mayes’ book “Under The Tuscan Sun” is based), Gubbio, Arezzo, Montalcino, Urbino, Isola Maggiore, plus more. The fun does not stop there - there are other tours, excursions and activities organized by our local Italian tour guide/expert Max Brunelli who will share Italy with you through his local insights and back door perspective.

We will have a portfolio building opportunity through a photo session inside an original medieval castle. Along with a few scheduled classroom times, we will also have fun photo assignments (for a chance to win some great prizes), and one-on-one meeting time with Kenny for a portfolio review and/or to discuss any topic of your choice. Kenny has been recently named by Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine as one of the Top A-List
destination wedding photographers and he will share some of his tips on destination weddings on this trip.

Expect to see various treasures that Italy has to offer.  Arrive with excitement and leave with memories, life lessons and friendships that you will cherish for years to come. You will rekindle your passion to be a better photographer and best of all, a better person after this trip. You will also walk away with a library of photos from some of the most beautiful backdrops in the world that you can share with your friends and clients. Get ready to have some fun - besides, there is no better way to spend your tax write-off! :)
