On this PhotoVenture with Kenny Kim, we will explore the region that is referred as “Campania Felix.” The rare beauty of its landscape, its artistic and cultural heritage and its cuisine and wines make Campania Felix one of the most appreciated regions of Italy at home and abroad. It is an area of incredible riches in natural beauty as well as art and culture. This region stretches over a wonderfully varied area of Italy, covering coastal areas as well as fertile and beautiful plains further inland, embracing the peace and picturesque tranquility of Sorrento, Capri, Ischia the Amalfi coast, the city and province of Naples including Pompeii, with the mystique wonders of Vesuvio. Once you encounter this part of Italy, you will soon agree with the ancient Romans on why they called this region Campania Felix (blessed country).
